A campus shutdown is not covered by tuition insurance. However, if a student contracts COVID-19 and must be excused from the University for medical reasons, that circumstance is covered by tuition insurance.

Have any costs for students taking online courses been discounted, or are all classes a flat rate regardless of the number of online classes are on a student’s schedule?
Rates have not been discounted for online classes; standard fee schedules still apply. The only change is if a traditional on-campus student was taking an online course, then the Online Access Fee would not be assessed. If a student is in an online program, the Online Access Fee will be assessed.
How will education majors complete clinical/student teaching requirements this fall? Will they still be able to graduate on time?
All education students seeking licensure are required to complete “student teaching.” At UTC, these students will be working with their assigned mentors from the local school system to meet all state and University requirements for licensure.
