No, those students are still classified as out-of-state residents. Undergraduate students who come from one of the eight states bordering Tennessee (along with South Carolina) have already qualified for a reduced tuition rate. Those rates are based on the standard fee schedule and not on any revisions to the fee schedule.

Is there any consideration for letting meal swipes or Mocs Bucks carry over to allow flexibility for students with dining in the fall semester if needed?
At this time, unused balances as part of the Mocs Bucks and Board Meals programs expire at the end of each semester and do not rollover.
If a student has all online classes, is that reflected in the billing?
Yes, that has been taken into account. There are different online fee structures for online-only programs.

Will there be reduced costs for limited use of facilities or services? For example, if the ARC is too crowded to socially distance or Mocs Express shuttle has reduced operation.
Fees will not be reduced for the ARC. The University has partnered with CARTA, our public transit provider, to ensure and enforce that social distancing measures are followed.
