The library staff will:
- Help identify articles/or books for your research
Help find out whether we own articles and/or books you have already identified
Help provide alternative access to missing or checked out items, or items we don’t own
Help with physically locating items in the building
Help with equipment (e.g. printing, copiers, coin-op, etc..) problems or questions
Help find a computer when the library is busy
Provide accurate answers to factual questions
Provide information that helps you answer your questions
Make sure we understand your question
Explain the search process/showing how we got the answer
Teach you how to solve your problems or get answers yourself
Provide brochures, online help, and signage
Show interest in assisting you and treating you with courtesy
Spend appropriate amount of time to answer your questions
Provide information that you need
Check to ensure your need was met
Refer you to the correct person or place if we can’t answer your question
Provide services at the times you need it
