Need to get prepared for the PRAXIS, GRE, NCLEX or other tests? We’ve got resources to help!
The Lupton Library subscribes to a unique database that is just loaded with test preparation materials. It’s called the Testing and Education Resource Center. To find it, simply choose the Articles and Databases link from the library’s home page and then choose the Reference Tools or Education category. There you’ll find a link to take you directly to the Testing and Education Resource Center.
Included in this database are test preparation booklets in PDF format as well as full length practice tests for some of the most popular professional exams out there. The NCLEX Nursing exam is available in both the PN and the RN versions and there are several test preparation resources that accompany these tests. For the PRAXIS teaching exams, prospective teachers can find test preparation booklets for both the Praxis I and the Praxis II. There are also 3 separate full length Praxis I practice tests that you can take and score to see how you’ll do on the real thing. There are also prep materials for the GRE, the GMAT the LSAT and the MCAT.
In order to use some of the features of the Testing and Education Resource Center, you’ll need to register the first time you visit. Once you have set up an account, the database will then save your progress so you can visit to study and retake practice tests as your exam date approaches. With graduation just over the horizon for many of our seniors, now is the time to take advantage of these professional test preparation materials so you can get the scores you’ll need to succeed in your chosen field.
