459 students and 90 faculty and staff responded to the 2009 Library Survey. A great majority of the UTC community indicate that they are highly satisfied with the Reference, Circulation, Reserve, Inter Library Loan, Instruction, Online Reference Sources, Indexes, databases, Availability of Laptop and Desktop Computers, and printing services.
A majority of our library patrons prefer desktop computers over laptop computers. They prefer to ask a reference question in person compared to email or IM or phone. They would like a quiet space to do some serious study and research. Also, one of the suggestions in light of budget cuts was to close the library on Saturdays.
