When most people think of libraries, they think of rows and rows of books. For centuries, the printed book has been a cornerstone of library collections. But, times change, and the electronic book is becoming more popular. Lupton Library is committed to embracing both the past and the future of research, and we are proud to introduce a growing collection of e-books to complement our print collection.
On the library website, you may have noticed a new link to e-books where we have organized several electronic book collections. ebrary offers full text access to 300 online books in psychology, business, economics, medicine, law, and more. NetLibrary includes over 3,000 titles on a large variety of topics. We even have convenient links to databases such as Project Gutenberg and Feedbooks for access to over 30,000 public domain titles ranging from classics of literature to ancient historical texts.
Many of our e-books will even show up when you search the regular library catalog, adding a new dimension to your research. So, whether you need authoritative reference books, primary source material, or the latest academic publications, our e-book collection is here to help!
