Do you need to make copies, but you’re out of money? Do you prefer having a digital copy of your articles? Lupton Library is here to help with free, color scanning on the second floor.
Two computers on the second floor have been set aside for viewing microfiche and microfilm. However, the Epson 3590 photo scanners do double-duty as free document scanners! Simply place your original documents in the scanner and double-click the EPSON icon on the computer desktop–in no time you’ll be building a PDF scan of the chapter, article, course reserve, or whatever other document you need a copy of. Even better, rather than create separate files for each page you scan, you can easily stitch everything together into a single PDF file and e-mail it to yourself to view later! So, the next time you need to copy an article but you’re out of cash, give our scanners a try! -Lane Wilkinson, Reference and Instruction Librarian
