When you check out a book at Lupton Library, you get it for the whole semester. (This semester’s due date is April 27th.) Need a book that has been checked out by someone else? Don’t panic! If our catalog shows that the item is checked out, you can always request that we get another copy of the book for you through our InterLibrary Loan (ILL) service. From the Library’s homepage, click on “Interlibrary Loan,” log in using your UTC ID and password, and enter the book’s information. When your book arrives, you will receive an email at your UTC email address that it is available at the circulation desk for pick-up. Be sure to check what the due date is on your ILL, since the owning library sets that and it is not for the whole semester. Do remember that for an interlibrary loan, another library has to snail-mail us the book you want, so this can take a few days. Try not to wait until the last minute for your research!
