Circa 1984, a board game was created that highlighted many of the iconic businesses in and around Chattanooga at the time. We know very little about the game (entitled All About Chattanooga), but we do recognize many of the businesses. Included in the above image are game pieces for the Chattanooga Choo Choo, Carta, Little Debbie Bakery, the UTC Arena, Wally’s Restaurant, the Tivoli, and the now defunct but fondly remembered Brass Register.
Businesses are highlighted through squares on the game board, game pieces, and cards. It appears that game play initiates from two types of playing cards. An example of the “Surprise Card” is featured below.
We think it’s time for an updated version- is anybody game?
