Just in case you missed the hype, UTC was honored this week to have author William Kamkwamba visit campus to speak about his book, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. The book, which tells the story of Kamkwamba building a windmill to supply his Malawi village with electricity, was chosen for UTC’s inaugural First Year Reading Program.
If you didn’t snag a free copy, no worries! You can check out a copy for three hours to read in the library – just ask at the Circulation desk. Or you can order a copy from another library (for free!) through Interlibrary Loan.
