Here at the library, we love Halloween. It conjurs so many good memories. Like that time we dressed up as a Memex? Everybody totally got that. Or when we brutally critiqued New York Magazine’s taxonomy of zombies amongst ourselves? Insane-O! Then, of course, there’s the great cat dress-up contest. No, not that one … remember, the one with the theme of “Lady Detectives”? Yeah. Off the chain. Anyway, Halloween’s kinda our thing. So join us, won’t you?
Here are the details:
What: Library Halloween Costume Contest
When: Monday, October 31, 12-3 p.m.
Where: Library atrium
Why: Prizes include $50, $30, and $20 Barnes & Noble gift cards and a place in our hearts.
How: Register on-site to enter the contest; we’ll snap your photo and our esteemed panel of judges will pick our top three winners.
