That’s right folks! As we count down to the national elections in November, we will be bringing you a veritable avalanche of political jingles, clips, and memorabilia from our vaults.
First up is a little jingle (found on a cassette tape in the Congresswoman’s collection) from one of Congresswoman Marilyn Lloyd’s many campaigns for her congressional seat in the great state of Tennessee. Note the refreshing lack of mudslinging and the simple, straightforward message. It worked; as Ms. Lloyd held the same congressional seat for 20 years!
