Cover the the 1955 Moccasin yearbook.

Cover the the 1955 Moccasin yearbook, featuring a predecessor of Chief Moccanooga, the university’s mascot introduced in the 1970s.

Thirty volumes of the Moccasin, the university’s student-published yearbook, are now available in all of their searchable, full text glory in UTC Digital Collections. Investigate student life from 1911 to 1958, cover to cover, by exploring classes, faculty, administrators, clubs and societies, athletics, social functions, theatrical productions, and musical performances.

The Moccasin also documents trends in fashion and design. From the finger curls of the 1920s to the mid century modern graphic design of the 1950s, flip through decades of dress, design history, and architecture on campus.

Want more? Volumes of the yearbook will be added as they are processed by Special Collections & University Archives. In the meantime, view the complete run of the Moccasin in the Library.
