The new school year brings with it vast new offerings from Special Collections! This summer, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) and the Chattanooga Public Library (CPL) welcomed the rich, diverse, and unique collections of the recently-folded Chattanooga History Center. Renamed the Chattanooga History Collections, co-curated by folks at UTC and CPL, and housed in Special Collections’ state-of-the-art preservation environment, we are excited to present Our Shared History: Selections from the Chattanooga History Collections. Stop by to view art, textiles, photographs, postcards, and objects that tell the history of Chattanooga displayed on the 4th floor of the UTC Library in the Andrew C. Roth Grand Reading Room and George Connor Special Collections Reading Room.
