Special Collections is proud to partner with Dr. Aaron Shaheen, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga George C. Connor Professor of American Literature, to offer a pop up display. In honor of the centennial of the Great War, Professor Shaheen has chosen five items from the World War I Posters collection. Shaheen specializes in American literature of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and is currently working on a monograph that examines the presence of prostheses in American literature and culture of the Great War era.
This guest-curated exhibition will be on display from Monday, October 30 to Friday November 3 in the George Connor Special Collections Reading Room located on the 4th floor in room 439 of the Library. View our Hours and Location for hours, driving directions, and parking details.
