Yes, the library has a “CAT”, but not the four-legged kind.
UTC CAT stands for UTC Community Attic Treasures – a service sponsored by Lupton Library providing light, casual reading for free or exchange.
All library users are welcome to take a book from the free racks located in the library foyer.
Do you have to donate a book?
Readers may exchange book donations for free books, but you don’t have to donate to be part of the community. Select a book that you would like to read and it is yours to keep. Or you may read a book and return it to the display when you are finished.
Got a cramped attic or bookshelf of your own?
Consider donating your unwanted books to UTC CAT! Just place the books in our donation box, and we will check them for damage, enter them in our LibraryThing account, and put them on the display to share with our community.
Remember these book are meant to be fun, light reading, so no old textbooks please.
