We’re so excited to welcome y’all on Halloween: Thursday, October 31 between 1-3pm.
All Mocs are welcome, including all students, staff, and faculty!
Here are a few of the reasons to drop by:
- Enjoy hot chocolate, coffee, cookies, brownies, and SO MUCH CANDY!
- You could win a door prize just for attending – 5 prizes of $10 Starbucks gift cards are up for grabs.
- You could win a jar of gummy worms by guessing the closest number of worms.
- Play a variety of fun games and activities at the different tables around the first floor showcasing all of the amazing resources you can find at the library.
- Discover your next great horror read/watch available at the library
- Enter the costume contest – there’s a contest for students and a contest for employees. Group and individual costumes are all welcome. Even if you don’t dress up yourself, it’s so fun to see all of the amazing costumes our campus comes up with!
Multiple Ways to Enter the Costume Contests
Students (win up to $50 at Starbucks!)
- You can have your picture taken at the Library party between 1 – 3pm on the 1st floor of the Library, or
- You can submit your own picture online by Wednesday October 30 at Noon at this link.
Employees (win a prize sponsored by the Chancellor’s Office)
- You can have your picture taken at Mocs Games on Chamberlain field from 11am – 1pm, or
- You can have your picture taken at the Library party between 1 – 3pm on the 1st floor of the Library, or
- You can submit your own picture online by Wednesday October 30 at Noon at this link.
Costume Contest Voting
All costume winners will be chosen by votes from other Mocs. After the pictures are taken, they will be loaded onto this library webpage. Mocs can log into vote for their favorite student costume and their favorite employee costume. The costumes with the most votes win!
