Graduations of varying sorts mark pretty significant milestones for most of us- as we graduate kindergarten, we can tie our shoes; at the end of junior high we’ve learned the correct usage of punctuation (okay, maybe that’s just significant to me); at the end of high school we know everything (at least we think we do). College graduation though is something more. Not only have we learned that there are “lies, damned lies, and statistics“, we have learned the fundamentals of our chosen disciplines.
We are ready for the world…or are we? Below is a graduation photo (early 60’s) that I unearthed from the archives today. So, after 17+ years of schooling, chalky directions are necessary for how & where to walk on the stage? Ahem, a little confidence in our graduates’ abilities please?
Congratulations to all of UTC’s 2010 graduates!! Go forth & conquer (no directional signs necessary)!
