Anne Brunsgaard comes to UTC fresh from five years in a public library in Gwinnett County. She has worked at such varied places as Fernbank Museum, Borders Books, the Atlanta History Center and a high school in rural Japan, where she was an English teacher for a year. She has finally settled down in library work and is very happy to be expanding her job skills in an academic setting.
Anne’s interests are primarily of the geek variety – she loves attending science fiction and anime conventions and is an avid reader of manga and graphic novels. She also enjoys cooking Japanese food and shopping for vintage clothes and accessories, especially brooches. If you know of any really good thrift stores or bookstores in the area, she’d love to hear about them.
