The Special Collections of Lupton Library will be holding an exhibit of items from the eclectic collections found in the department. The exhibit is titled: Our Cabinets of Antiquarian Curiosities and will include such items as: a 1632 printing of Shakespeare’s play, The Twelfth Night; a 1931 letter to the university from Indian leader Mohandas K. Gandhi; rarely seen political photographs from the John H. Rous Collection; Civil War items including rare cartes de visite photographs, uniform parts, and letters; a World War II-era newspaper from Nazi Germany; letters from various United States Presidents; artwork from internationally known artist and UTC alumnus Barry Moser; and a letter from Sherlock Holmes creator and author Arthur Conan Doyle.
The exhibit is in the Special Collections on the 2nd floor of Lupton Library and will run until June.
