The following UTC Faculty and Staff have attracted $1,051,193 in external grant and contract awards: Dr. Neslihan Alp (Engineering Management Technology), Dr. Raga Ahmed (Electrical Engineering), Dr. Li Yang (Computer Science), Dr. Mbakisya Onyango (Chemical Engineering), and Drs. 2017 CRISP Award Recipients

The Collaborative Research Initiative for Sponsored Projects (CRISP) program stimulates collaborative sponsored research at UTC by providing resources to investigational teams of UTC faculty to build research capacity, create internal and external research collaborations, and establish multi-disciplinary research teams. Posters at the Capitol application now open!

Every February, undergraduate researchers from across the State of Tennessee convene at the State Capitol to share their projects with state legislators. In its 12th year, this event provides students access to state leaders. Space is limited:  UTC is able to send 7 undergraduates to the event this year. Submit your abstract for the 2017 National Conference on Undergraduate Research

The 2017 National Conference on Undergraduate Research will be held April 6-8, 2017, at the University of Memphis. This event showcases the best in undergraduate research and the creative and performing arts. It is an important opportunity to present your work in front of a diverse, national audience. The call for abstracts and submissions is open until December 2, but space for UTC students is limited.
