Before taking the kids out to your local neighborhood and fall festivals on Saturday, October 31st, bring them down to First Tennessee Pavilion and Finley Stadium for an early afternoon of great Mocs football and tailgate fun.
Start your Saturday off with tailgating festivities at First Tennessee Pavilion. Inflatables, games and face painting will be available for children. Various university affinity groups and fans will also gather for great food and beverages available for purchase. Or bring your own tailgate setup and make it a lunch event with your friends.
During the tailgate festivities, enjoy the UTC men’s and women’s basketball teams as they move their annual Blue and Gold Tipoff outdoors in the covered pavilion. The tipoff will begin immediately following the MocWalk at 11:45 a.m. Praters Hardwood Flooring will be installing the playing floor from The McKenzie Arena for the event and will be giving away commemorative floor replicas to the first 100 fans in attendance.
The UTC Student Government Association will also be handing out free t-shirts to students who are in attendance.
Then make your way to Finley Stadium as Coach Russ Huesman leads the Chattanooga Mocs against the Western Carolina Catamounts in a 2:00 p.m. football game. Various student groups will also be on hand beginning at 12:30 p.m. to provide kids a safe and exciting trick-or-treating experience throughout the stadium concourse. Wear your costume for even more fun.
