Local Students attend first annual Allied Health Day

On Saturday, October 22nd students from local high schools attended the first annual Allied Health Day at UTC. Students were able to attend multiple sessions in the following disciplines: Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Leisure Studies, Nursing, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Pre-Med, Chiropractic Medicine, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, and Sports Studies.  Presenters included UTC faculty and graduate students in addition to UTC graduates.  Presenters provided 30-minute hands-on demonstrations to

UTC Supports Haitian Educators

Every summer since 2012, Dr. Shewanee Howard-Baptiste (Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance) presents annually at the Teachers’ Summer Institute (TSI). First Annual Heroes Run a Huge Success

On July 16th, over 1,500 runners and even more spectators participated in UTC’s first annual Chattanooga Heroes Run, in honor of the Chattanooga men who gave their lives on July 16, 2015. The five mile race began at the Naval Operational Support Center on Amnicola Hwy and ended at the UTC Challenge Center.
