In support of the College’s commitment to increasing opportunities for freshmen engagement, the CECS Living, Learning Community (LLC) has been expanded from eight to sixteen participants. Earlier this month, twelve men and four women moved into the Stophel Apartments on UTC’s South Campus. The freshman LLC participants are graduates of high schools from across Tennessee and other states. The activities of the LLC began this Fall Semester with enrollment in a special topics course taught by Associate Dean Dr. Neslihan Alp with assistance from Director of Student Success Julie David.
Through the course of the year, the CECS LLC participants will join in experiential learning and recreational activities to explore together involvement in the College’s many student organizations and campus programs.
