On Dec. 4, 2018, the UTC Faculty Grants Committee awarded $1,600 the project Photobioreactor Development for Microbial Treatment of Hamilton County Wastewater Effluents. IEEE Power and Energy Society awards scholarships to UTC Electrical Engineering students

Timothy Mannon and Christopher Lee Electrical Students, Christopher Lee and Timothy Mannon from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s College of Engineering and Computer Science, each received a $2,000 scholarship from the IEE PES Scholarship Plus Initiative. One hundred and seventy-four (174) PES Scholarship recipients were selected from 96 U.S., Puerto Rico & Canadian universities for the 2019-19 academic year.
