Four student athletes in the College of Engineering and Computer Science were recently named to the All-Southern Conference Academic Team.
Each semester the SoCon honors individuals for excelling in the classroom, as well as for their performance on the field. To be eligible for the academic all-conference team, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of the fall semester, and are required to compete in at least one-half of their teams’ competitions. In addition, the student-athletes must have successfully completed at least three semesters at their respective institutions.

John Payne, Men’s Cross-Country, Chemical Engineering Major, from Portland, Tennessee
Brianna Nelson, Women’s Cross-Country, Environmental Engineering Major, from Jefferson, Wisconsin
Nathan Watson, Men’s Cross-Country, Chemical Engineering Major, from Hendersonville, Tennessee
