The UTC Library has uploaded 171 items to our collection of Honors Theses and Masters Theses and Doctoral Dissertations on UTC Scholar. The theses and dissertations from 1984 through mid-2010s include our most highly-used theses and dissertations as well as items of local interest.
Included are works about local organizations and local populations, literary criticism and biography of members of the Fellowship of Southern Writers, and University and local history. The collection includes a wide variety of local and regional ecological studies and surveys, including works on the American Chestnut, stream ecology, urban watersheds, fish and mammal communities, and conservation.
Expanding the availability and accessibility of the research products of UTC is integral to the Library’s mission. The digitization project spanned two years and included 20 individuals from across the Library.
