The 22 European students who are participating in this year’s U.S. Department of State’s Study of the U.S. Institute (SUSI) Leaders recently visited the Northside Neighborhood House in North Chattanooga during their 4-week stay at UTC.
The College of Business and the Office of Global Education are partnering together to teach Social Entrepreneurship to the group of students. During their stay so far, SUSI Leaders have visited and volunteered at many area organizations including the American Red Cross and the Atlanta Center for Civil and Human Rights. They will also volunteer with the Salvation Army where they will prepare food for the food insecure, as well as spend time volunteering with the Habitat for Humanity.
