The Eta Kappa Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi in the UTC College of Business was recently recognized internationally as a Distinguished Chapter for their outstanding efforts during the 2016-2017 academic year.
Recognition as a Distinguished Chapter is a significant accomplishment. Under the leadership of both Dr. Spencer Usrey and Dr. Joanie Sompayrac, the Eta Kappa Chapter has far exceeded the baseline requirements of Beta Alpha Psi and has excelled in the areas of academics, professionalism, and leadership.
Beta Alpha Psi – Eta Kappa is a National Honor Society for Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems majors. Beta Alpha Psi recognizes academic excellence and complements members’ formal education by providing interaction and networking among students, faculty, and professionals. The aim is to foster lifelong growth, service and ethical conduct.
