Brock Scholar Robert Fisher Named Rhodes Scholar

Robert Fisher has been named a 2015 Rhodes Scholar, the only recipient from the state of Tennessee and one of only 32 recipients nationwide.  The Rhodes Scholarships are the most competitive and prestigious international fellowships in the world.

Hannah Gamble, a 2004 graduate of the Brock Scholars Program (formerly called the University Honors Program), has received a Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation.

Brock Scholar Wins National Scholarship in Engineering

Nicholas True, a senior Brock Scholar from Cleveland, Tennessee, has won the National Top Scholar Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies worth $10,000. This award is selected on the basis of academic performance, leadership, initiative, work experience in the field and understanding of the engineer’s role in various scenarios.   Nick was previously selected as one of two winners at the state level, which qualified him for the national
