Get a foot in the door for post-graduation employment! The Placement and Student Employment Center and the Cooperative Education Office present Career Day on Wednesday, February 9 from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Tennessee and Chattanooga Rooms of the University Center.
“Career Day is the link a student’s future,” Jean Dake, Director of the UTC Office of Placement and Student Employment, said. “Participants informally meet with organizations to find out about employment opportunities.”
A total of 68 organizations will have representatives at the event, including local employers Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, Chattem, Inc., Krystal, and McKee Food Corporation, and U.S. XPress. Representatives from national organizations and federal agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, T-Mobile, and Capital Financial Group will also be at the event. These representatives will be available to talk with students about opportunities for career entry level, internships, co-op, summer and part-time positions.
