Providing a variety of selections and prompt service to UTC students isn’t the only thing campus food provider Aramark does well. The company was recognized for the fourth year in a row by FORTUNE magazine as one of the World’s Most Admired Companies.
Aramark ranked first in its industry in all nine of FORTUNE’s attributes of ranking, which include quality of services, innovation, social responsibility, people management, quality of the management team, and financial soundness.
“We’re dedicated to providing the UTC students, faculty, and staff with a variety of dining options,” Tim McWilliams, UTC Senior Food Service Director, said. “What makes our service great is our people. Our team at UTC work tirelessly to bring good quality food and service to the campus community.”
This recognition is one of many that ARAMARK has received during the past year, including being named for the sixth consecutive year to the Global Outsourcing 100, which recognizes companies that provide the best service worldwide; and being listed as one of America’s largest private companies by both Forbes and FORTUNE magazines.
At UTC, Campus Dining Services will be expanding in the fall. Currently, Campus Crossroads is undergoing renovations to increase square footage and new food options. The facility is slated to open in the fall.
Four meal plans will be offered in the fall, including a new “all-you-can-eat” option at the renovated Campus Crossroads location.
