A partnership between UTC’s interior design department and Cornerstones, Inc., created a unique opportunity for students to plan for the future at the site of an historic Chattanooga hotel.
Dana Moody, head of the UTC department of interior design, forged the partnership with Ann Gray, executive director of Cornerstones, a local historic preservation organization. UTC student teams competed to come up with an appropriate design plan to breathe new life into the former Hotel Grand on Market Street.
