The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga invites the public to a community forum on Wednesday, November 2, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Bessie Smith Hall to participate in developing a new campus master plan. By fall 2012, a sustainable campus master plan will be crafted by integrating changes to UTC buildings, open space, residential housing, academic and athletics spaces, property, circulation and parking as the campus expands its enrollment and considers potential partnerships over the next decade.
“By holding this open house – and future charrettes – UTC hopes to engage students, faculty, staff, and neighbors in discussions about the challenges and opportunities the campus master plan can address to meet our mission of community engagement and support,” said Dr. Richard Brown, Vice Chancellor of Finance and Operations.
