WUTC, FM 88.1, completed its fall membership drive in record time, according to Robin Higgins, the membership coordinator for the public radio station licensed to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
“The radio station eclipsed its $140,000 goal,” Higgins said.
WUTC is the region’s source for programs from National Public Radio plus offers local informational and musical programming.
“It’s not too late to be a part of the campaign,” Higgins said. “Just call us at 423/425-4756 or join us on-line at wutc.org.”
Listeners’ monetary donations are used to pay the programming costs of the radio station.
