The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga joins Purdue, University of Southern California, Stanford and Duke as one of the top 25 schools in SuperScholar’s Smart Choice for online Engineering Management degrees.
According to SuperScholar’s Smart Choice for online Engineering Management degrees web page:
“For our Smart Choice ranking of the top colleges for online Engineering Management degrees only regionally accredited colleges and universities listed in the National Center for Education Statistics database were considered. Qualifying schools were then evaluated and ranked based on publicly available information regarding academic reputation, special accreditation, student satisfaction, and cost.”
In 2001, UTC began to offer the Master of Science Engineering Management degree online. Currently, the University has more than 100 graduate students in the program; 60 percent of UTC graduate students in the program are fully online. In 2012, the University graduated 31 students from the program, according to Dr. Neslihan Alp, Department Head of Engineering Management and Technology, UC Foundation Professor and Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.
“It’s a great honor for us to learn that our Engineering Management online master’s program is ranked as number 22 in the U.S. among all these strong universities,” Alp said.
SuperScholar.org’s Smart Choice rankings were designed as tools to help prospective students make a smart choice about where to invest their time and money in earning their degree, according to Jeremy Alder, Managing Editor of SuperScholar.org
“At SuperScholar.org we are committed to connecting people to inspiring ideas and high quality educational opportunities. We are confident that students will find both at UTC,” Alder stated.
