The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team has clinched a share of their first league championship since 1984. UTC is 8-3 overall, 6-2 in SoCon action, and close out the regular season at No. 1 Alabama.
The 23rd-ranked Chattanooga Mocs kept their perch atop the Southern Conference standings with a 20-10 win over No. 15 Wofford at Finley Stadium on Saturday, November 9.
The University honored the team with an on-campus celebration at Chamberlain Pavilion in the heart of campus. Hosted by UTC Chancellor Dr. Steve Angle, the event featured head coach Russ Huesman and members of the football team, Vice Chancellor & Director of Athletics David Blackburn, and the UTC Band and Spirit Squads.
