Many students find that transferring from a two-year or other four-year campus to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is the right educational move for their futures.
To make this process easier, UTC is a proud participant in the Tennessee Transfer Pathways program, an initiative to provide clear information about courses students should take in order to plan toward transferring to another campus. This website does not replace the critical work of academic advising but offers a tool to assist students in their academic planning.
“We are fortunate that many students want to transfer to UTC, and typically they do very well once they are here,” said Lee Pierce, director of undergraduate admissions. “Anything that we can do to encourage students to enroll in higher education in Tennessee—and of course, at UTC—is a positive step. The Tennessee Transfer Pathways site is a step to make this entire process easier and more student-friendly.”
Tennessee Transfer Pathways is a collaborative initiative by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission, the Tennessee Board of Regents, the Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association, and the University of Tennessee system.
