UTC students, do you have a great idea for a business?
All students across the disciplines are being challenged by the UTC College of Business to participate in the 3rd Annual Elevator Pitch competition, to be held Wednesday, September 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Fletcher 100.
UTC students are required to read the competition rules and complete an application. Visit the web page for the 3rd Annual Elevator Pitch Competition.
A maximum of 15 of the top applicants will be selected to participate in the first round of the competition, where they will pitch their ideas for a chance to win prize money and a trip to the national CEO Pitch Competition in Orlando, Florida.
The event is hosted by the UTC CEO Club. The competition provides inspiration, capital support, and practical guidance to students who are interested in entrepreneurial pursuits.
All applications must be submitted to Dr. Beverly Brockman or Laura Perryman in Fletcher Hall 412-C or apply here by noon on Wednesday, September 10, 2014.
Winners from Round One go on to Round Two, to be held Wednesday, October 1 at 3 p.m. at the Hamilton County Business Development Center.
