UTC’s MS Engineering Management Program was recently named the number 20 Online Engineering Management Graduate Program in the Nation by Top Management Degrees.
“I’m so proud of our faculty and staff for helping us achieve this recognition,” said Dr. Neslihan Alp, Department Head of Engineering Management and Technology and Director of Graduate Programs.
The program began offering courses online as early as 2000 and by 2005, had transitioned to a program offered completely online.
Its flexibility allows students from anywhere to obtain a degree without stepping foot on campus.
“We have students all over the world; from everywhere in the US to Canada, even Saudi Arabia,” Alp explained.
In the past ten years the program has grown enormously in size, now boasting four times the amount of students and graduates.
“Now, our program in the College of Engineering and Computer Science is a well-known and recognized program both nationally and internationally.” Alp continued, “It is a great honor for all of us to bring this recognition to UTC. It took more than 15 years to grow and make a great online graduate program in Engineering Management, and we are so honored and humbled with this recognition.”
