Located in Lynchburg, TN, Motlow State serves the southern region of middle Tennessee as their local community college.
UTC recently extended our Dual Admissions agreement to Motlow State, allowing their students dual admission to the two schools, an advisor on UTC’s campus, and many other benefits. This opportunity allows for an easy transition from their two-year college to our University as transfer students continue their four-year degree.
“I love that UTC has reached out to offer the Dual Admission part of the agreement. I think that the most important part of the agreement is linking the students up with the advisor in Chattanooga much earlier ,” said Dr. Tony Kinkel, President, Motlow State.
Chancellor Steven Angle explained how this is a great opportunity for students taking advantage of the TN Promise,
“This allows a smooth transition from a community college to a four-year degree. The TN Promise is that affordable path to a four-year degree,” Angle said.
The Dual Admissions agreement has already been penned with both Chattanooga and Cleveland State.
