The community has stepped up again. The WUTC-FM/88.1 pledge drive ended a day early after the $165,000 goal was raised for the station’s budget. The money goes toward the cost of regular programming such as NPR’s Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, local music shows and community outreach.
The staff at WUTC and UTC administration want to thank everyone who donated. Erlanger Hospital sponsored $,1000 for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank during Sack Pack Day and Nooga Paws sponsored $1,000 for McKamey Animal Center and the Humane Educational Society during Pet Day.
