UTC Communications Photo Night
When: 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 6
Where: Derthick Lecture Hall
Admission: Free and open to the public
Details: A conversation with four professional photographers and a showcase of the best photo stories by COMM students.
Elder Scholars Meeting
When: 1-2:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 12
Where: University Center Signal Mountain Room
Details: Hosted by Development and Alumni Affairs, this group made up of members of the community 50 years and older meets to participate in a new learning activity each month.
Chattanooga Regional Science and Engineering Fair
When: 4-5:45 p.m., Thursday, March 14
Where: University Center Chattanooga Room
Admission: Observation is free and open to the public; Participants pay an entry fee to take part.
Details: Annually, approximately 200 students from area middle schools, high schools, and home school settings take part in the fair and are eligible to receive awards in the many categories which are a part of the competition.

Global Spotlight Featuring Iran
When: 5-6 p.m., Tuesday, March 19
Where: University Center Tennessee Room
Admission: Free and open to the public
Details: During this casual program, international students share their culture and traditions with the UTC community in various ways including presentations, dance performances, music and Q&A.

Take Five Reading Series: Matthew Guy presents “Little Big Man” by Thomas Berger

Admission: Free and open to the public
Details: UTC’s popular reading series returns with an insightful and entertaining discussion of FRONTIERS. Take Five is sponsored by the George C. Connor Professorship in American Literature, the Connor Society, and the UTC Department of English.
