University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Chancellor Steve Angle delivers his annual State of the University address at 11:15 a.m. Thursday. Angle will speak inside the recently renovated Guerry Center on Oak Street at UTC.
Following Angle’s remarks, guests can tour the Guerry Center, the new home of the UTC Honors College. The center is named for Chattanooga’s Guerry family.
Zan Guerry, retired chief executive officer of Chattem, will be in attendance. His grandfather Alexander Guerry was president of the University of Chattanooga, which affiliated with the UT System in 1969 and became UTC.
Copies of Angle’s State of the University speech will be available at the event.
