Students, staff, faculty and community members attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s 8th annual Photo Night on Wednesday, March 6, in the UTC Fine Arts Center’s Roland Hayes Concert Hall. Photo Night was hosted by the Department of Communication.
Students attended workshops led by photography professionals during the day, with the official event culminating in presentations from five professional photographers interspersed with videos produced by Rising Rock students.
Presentations included recent UTC communication graduate and wedding photographer Mariel Echavez Mathis, Atlanta Braves photographer Kevin Liles, documentary photojournalist Kathleen Greeson, freelance and nature photographer Wade Payne, and photojournalist Billy Weeks—an associate lecturer at UTC and the event’s coordinator.
