Grammer, an acclaimed singer, songwriter, and musician who began his career as a street performer in Santa Monica, was the first male pop artist since John Mayer to reach the Top 10 Adult Pop Radio charts with his first two singles, “Keep Your Head Up” and “Fine By Me.”
Fort Wayne, Indiana—based The Ready Set is the stage name for the solo project of musician Jordan Witzigreuter. The Ready Set is known for the popular singles, platinum selling “Love Like Woe” and “Young Forever,” which was the number one most-watched video on MTV.com.
Bria Woods, a junior Communications major and Large Concerts chairperson for CAB, hopes the event can bring a little more excitement to campus while becoming a popular and anticipated yearly tradition.
“Students have been asking for a large, on-campus concert for years, and I am excited that CAB has finally been able to bring that experience through ‘Moc Madness.’ Even though we are starting out small this first time around, hopefully we are able to grow the event from year to year by attracting local sponsors and more attention in the community. We want this to become a yearly tradition similar to what a lot of our friends experience at other colleges and universities across the country,” Woods said.
