“We Shall Achieve,” the promotional video produced by the Office of University Relations Office last year has received recognition in two prestigious award competitions.
The 35th annual Telly Awards presented a Bronze statue to the video in the Recruitment category. The international competition had nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries.
In the Educational Digital Marketing Awards, the video received a Bronze Award. The Education Digital Marketing Awards, sponsored by the Higher Education Marketing Report, recognizes the best educational websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile media and social media.
Chuck Cantrell, associate vice chancellor for communication and marketing, served as producer and writer for the project, and April Cox, art director, served as creative director. The video was originally produced for presentation to the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees meeting, held in Chattanooga in March 2013. The UTC University Relations Office and Video Digital Studio contracted with a local firm, DV8 Productions, on the piece.
“This is a great honor for our team and for the University,” said Cantrell. “Video continues to be a powerful medium and we are fortunate to have such a top quality product to represent the outstanding work and alumni of this campus.”
