Chattanooga’s Keiana Gilbert of Columbia, Tennessee, has earned her second straight SoCon Freshman of the Week honor for her performance in games played from November 25-December 1. The freshman was also selected ESPN National Player of the Week.
In case you missed it, the women’s basketball team at UTC beat the UT Lady Vols at McKenzie Arena on November 26 with a 67-63 win.
The next home game will be on Wednesday, December 17, against Stanford. Tipoff is at 6 p.m. in the McKenzie Arena.
