10 a.m.-noon—Spend a Celtic Christmas with WUTC’S Rabbit Zielke.
Noon-1 p.m.—All Songs Considered For The Holidays (6th Edition)—host Bob Boilen and friends trade holiday cheer and snarky barbs with some of the best holiday songs both old and new.
1 p.m.-2 p.m.—Tinsel Tales 3—Holiday stories of all kinds are featured: funny, touching, insightful, and surprising. Hosted by Lynn Neary.
2 p.m.-4 p.m.—Christmas Jazz is provided by WUTC’s Ken Dryden.
4 p.m.-8 p.m.–NPR’s “All Things Considered”
8 p.m.-9 p.m.—An Afro-Blue Christmas—Howard University’s premiere vocal ensemble and special guest pianist Cyrus Chestnut will present a very special holiday concert. The a cappella group performs a variety of holiday songs including African-American spirituals, jazz, pop tunes, and classical compositions. Hosted by Michele Norris.
9 p.m.-10 p.m.—Jazz Piano Christmas—NPR music brings you another great concert from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Pianists Cyrus Chestnut, Kris Davis, Lynne Arriale, and Harold Mabern play some their favorite holiday songs. Hosted by Felix Contreras.
