Martavius Dunigan is part of the first class of Postsecondary Awareness with Success (PAWS) students to graduate from High School and continue to college. Dunigan was accepted into all three universities he applied to. This past summer he was anticipating the fall semester, and deciding between his top two choices: East Tennessee State University and Tennessee State University.
“PAWS helped me with a lot. Just to focus on my future and that education is the key. Education is everything,” said Dunigan.
PAWS mentorship program partners UTC students with local fourth and fifth graders. The program introduces Elementary school students to options beyond high-school, and builds excitement for their future as students, graduates, and professionals.
